Why use film for studio photography?
Film doesn’t need to be a limitation in the studio, but rather a tool that when mastered can help you bring your ideas to life.
These days there are fewer limitations when it comes to shooting film in a studio setting, and obstacles can be easily overcome. You can test the light, control your settings to achieve the desired exposure, and not waste any shots.
Many photographers choose to shoot film in the studio for its unmatched rendering of colors, texture and unique characteristics that no editing tool can surpass.
The analogue process is also well known for helping photographers to slow down and think about their photos. The limited amount of frames available is of great help in focusing your mind and work, to make every shot count and achieve the best results possible.
