How can I get into studio photography?
There are no specific requirements for you to get started with studio photography. Anyone can give it a go. One good way to start your journey is by assisting an experienced photographer. This can be a great way to learn about every piece of equipment needed in the studio and how to use them. After some time, when you are comfortable and familiar with lighting techniques, light modifiers, set design, etc, you can try on your own.

At first, work on your photography, build your portfolio for the kind of photography you wish to practice, and get to know other industry people who can become part of your team and network. You may find other people like yourself in need of building a portfolio who are willing to collaborate with you.
To begin with you can rent a studio space by the hour or day. Just make sure that you take full advantage of your time there by preparing thoroughly, so when you arrive at the studio you are ready to shoot. Also make sure to study what kind of light you want and how to achieve the desired look.
