How can I set up my own mini photography studio at home?
Place your photography equipment in a room that is no less than 2 meters deep. If you’re working with a rectangular space make sure to set up your backdrops on the shorter side so that you can walk on the long side of the room.
You will also need:
- A flash with battery power option
- Stand
- Reflectors
- Softbox
- Backdrops / seamless paper
- Wall mounted backdrop system
- Clips
You can fit your backdrop on a curtain rail, available from any furniture shop.
If you want to save space, use a single light set up, but have at least one reflector available to create different lighting conditions.
Other elements that you might need can be found in your home, such as a working table, props, a stool to give you a higher point of view, and a mirror.
