What kind of film should I use for studio photography?

Any kind of film can be used in studio photography. Since the ISO is fixed in analogue photography, when you meter your light, you must consider the ISO number as the variable that can not be changed, therefore all the other settings in your camera and strobe lights have to be modified accordingly.

A stable and controlled light source can give you more freedom to work with any ISO you have at your disposal. From low ISO such as 100 ISO to high speed such as 800 ISO, they can all be used in a studio.

Depending on what kind of photography you practice, whether it is portrait, still life, commercial, editorial etc., there will be different factors that can determine what kind of film you may want to use.
