What is a LomoWall?
A LomoWall is a vibrant and colorful artwork that utilizes analogue photography to celebrate the talent and diversity of countries, cultures and people. It is composed of eye-catching photographs that are thoughtfully laid out on walls or panels. The images can be arranged in psychedelic patterns or random ranges – it’s up to you to decide how to elevate the artistic viewing experience.

As with other art forms, setting up a LomoWall takes planning and patience, so we recommend working with your fellow passionate Lomographers! It is a democratic process with a collaborative nature; there is so much freedom to express your own unique styles and ideas.

The LomoWall is an important part of our story as it made way for Lomographers to proudly showcase their works, and for fellow artists and spectators to gather in the name of art appreciation. The LomoWall has seen different corners of the world – from historic places like the Photokina in Cologne and MoMA in New York, to personal spaces like offices and bedrooms. World records have also been broken by thousands of photographers assembling to create huge LomoWalls indoors or outdoors.

Since the beginning of the Lomography movement, the LomoWall has been telling stories, guiding journeys, stimulating emotions and bridging borders. It truly is more than an exhibition, it is an experience too. No two LomoWalls are ever the same, and so we are excited to see what you will come up with!
Sounds exciting? Let’s get to it! Here’s how to create your very own LomoWall.
