A Day With Indonesian Author Marchella FP and the Lomo’Instant Automat

Today we’re spending a day with Marchella FP, best-selling author based in Jakarta and the Lomo’Instant Automat el Nil Edition!

Hello, my name is Marchella FP, I am a writer and IP creator from Indonesia. I have six titles starting from Generasi90an, NKCTHI to my latest work TABI.

I love working in various mediums ranging from writing, painting, videography and one that I have enjoyed since elementary school is photography. I love archiving memories through photography, and how two-dimensional visuals can record history and tell stories with various meanings.

This is my daily life. From the morning I start my day. A cup of coffee with beans I got from a small kiosk in Omotesando, Tokyo. The days are spent brainstorming with the team at our IP company, trying out the latest cafe around Blok M with my family, and after work dinner with my best friend for an energy boost.

These photos taken with the Lomo'Instant Automat show the collection of toys and books that are my favorite part of the studio, and the daily activities that I will one day tell the next generation about, through two-dimensional memories.
